Oh, wow, that Ginny comment is bad. I really liked her, she seemed like such a sweet person in the few interviews I've seen. And that's the reason why I don't get into RP or any kind of fandom things normally (except going to FedCon), it just makes me dislike the actors and in proxy dislike the characters. Uggggh. :'(
But yeah, I'm beginning to realize that my view of the world was pretty sheltered with thinking that shows like Buffy or Glee were the 'normal' shows and it wasn't a big deal anymore to see two women kiss (I've been into Star Trek before, so I do know that it 'was' a big deal then, just, that was a looooong time ago). Obviously it is. That's so discouraging. And sad. :'(
Also, yes, I want it to be something that 'just' happens, because that's exactly what it is. This is one of the reasons I've stayed away from 'The L-World' for now, because I'm not sure if I can stand a show where being gay is 'the topic' of the show. That just feels kinda wrong for me.
