Polaroids and ships

My entries for Land of Art challenges 14 and 15, a few polaroids and a few (mini)wallpapers for my favourite ships. And I FINALLY made something for Farscape again. YAY! :D



I thought I'd make a sort of 'Crichton family album' for the polaroid challenge.










For the ships challenge, I don't really have so many ships, as I normally prefer happily ever after and that doesn't happen so often in TV (or at least not in the type of TV shows I watch). But I found a few.








And right now I'm still obsessed with Myka and HG from Warehouse 13 - which I don't even get so much, as all their scenes are incredibly angsty *sobbing*, but well... I made the picspam about them anyways. And because this is me, I added a little meta to it too. ;D

I really like the coloring on the Polaroids...and nice choice going with scenes from the past!

And I only know about half those ships, but John/Delenn are wonderful (and of course J/A but that is sort of obvious I think!). I was never super into Roslin/Adama, but I totally understand people who were and why they were. Her death scene makes me cry every time I think about it.

Also love the Warehouse 13 ship, even though I've never seen an episode of that show! If those two crazy gals finally get together though, I will be all over it :)

Thank you! I loved John/Delenn and obviously John/Aeryn, but yeah, I'm not super into Roslin/Adama either, but it's the only ship I share with my fiancee, so I had to do something about it. ;) And I love her death scene *bawl*

Also, that ship is just about the only thing I love about Warehouse 13. I really hope they get together, but if not, that last scene of them is so perfect, I'll cherish it either way. *sob*

Love the Farscape Polaroids of the Crichtons! They are so perfect, even to the slight loss of color - a true masterpiece.

The Christmas postcard is beyond cute, snowmen and all :-)

As for the ships, though I have no idea about the identity of nr. 2 and 6, I was more than happy to see both my favorite couples at 4 & 5 :-)

Lovely picspams! The Crichton family album looks amazing and you nailed the vintage coloring there, they do look like old photos :) Also the colors of that Han/Leia image are perfection!

Thank you! Though honestly, I have to say I'm quite embarassed about the wallpapers, I didn't spend too much time making them because I just kinda wanted to get that main challenge out of the way to make that picspam. And I really think right now anything other than icons is too big for me and the quality of my screencaps. ;) But yeah, I think the Star Wars one is at least bearable, so...

LOL, me too. IMHO making bigger graphics is never an excuse to have bad image quality, and I have no patience to always search for the 2-4 images HQ enough to make wallpapers of. Thus, me making any other graphics than icons regularly = not likely :p
