Entry for Land of Art challenge #20

jacqueleeYAY! I’ve done it! I’ve rewritten The Very Hungry Caterpillar four times for the main characters of How I met your mother :D
This was such a fun challenge, mostly because the list I got immediately sparked this idea and I think it worked out pretty well! BIG thanks to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
defyxgravityx! As soon as I read ‘How I met your mother and ‘The very hungry caterpillar’ my mind went there and I knew what I had to do. I LOVE THAT BOOK!! Well, I work in a day care, so that book is sort of my bread and butter.
I hope the way I did the challenge is okay, I just couldn’t resist doing it. If it doesn’t fit the requirements, I’ll redo it.
The very horny Barney – 10 icons of Barney trying to score a perfect week
Inspirations: How I met your mother, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Kristen Stewart, dark, Jessie J, Orlando Bloom
On Monday, Barney met a girl who looked like Kristen Stewart, who normally only falls for sparkly vampires, but he still went out with her.
On Tuesday, Barney met a girl who looked like a dark, veiny Lily, who scared the crap out of him, but he still went out with her.
On Wednesday, Barney met a girl who looked like Jessie J, who was a bit too goth for him, but he still went out with her.
On Thursday, Barney met a girl who looked like Orlando Bloom in Lord of the Rings, but he still went out with her.
On Friday, Barney met a blonde girl, and he still went out with her.
And thus completes Barney’s perfect (workday) week. And on Saturday Barney met Robin and never strove for a perfect week again. ((yes, I’m a hopeless romantic, sue me!))

The first week Lily and Marshall invite their neighbours over to dinner. They think it went great but their guests beg to differ…
The second week Lily and Marshall invite Kirsten and Sandy over for sharades. They think it went great, but their guests beg to differ…
The third week Lily and Marshall invite Robin and Barney over for game night. They think it went great, but their guests beg to differ…
But in the fourth week Robin and Barney started to regret blowing them off, so they reconciled with each other in the rain.
The very unlucky Robin – 6 picspams of Robin trying to be on a show somebody watched

On her first job, Robin had to wait for the rescuers to get a little boy out of a vending machine, and nobody watched it.
On her second job, Robin fell into horsepoop, and nobody was supposed to watch it.
On her third job, Robin had to work with someone who regularly dropped his pants, and still nobody watched it.
On her fourth job, Robin worked with a giant fan and a chimpanzee, and still nobody watched it.
On her fifth job, Robin put out a fire, resuscitated the weatherman and delivered a baby and still nobody watched it.
On her sixth job, Robin had to land the traffic helicopter herself when the pilot had suffered a stroke. And finally, everybody watched it.
The very chatty Ted – 4 Wallpapers of Ted telling his kids how he did (not) meet their mom

Spring of 2005 Ted dated Victoria. She didn’t become the mother of his children, but he still told them about her. A lot.
Summer of 2006 Ted dated Robin. She didn’t become the mother of his children, but he still told them about her. A lot.
Fall of 2008 Ted dated Stella. She didn’t become the mother of his children, but he still told them about her. A lot.
Winter of 2010 Ted dated Zoey. She didn’t become the mother of his children, but he still told them about her. A lot.
And hopefully, Spring of 2013 Ted will finally tell them about their mother. Or not. We'll see.
Oh, and then they all became butterflies and flew into the light. :D

2. I have no idea what that first challenge is about but it's hilarious and I love the scoring icons :D Great story there, (...except for the ending, says the antiromantic that is JS :D)
