jacqueleeA shipper's manifesto for my favourite pairing (pretty much the ONLY pairing I ship) in the whole Stargate fandom. Made for challenge #19 of Stargateland.
I whipped up a picspam and a few words about this absolutely adorable couple.
The reason I ship these two, apart from the fact that both Jewel Staite and David Hewlett are unbelievably CUTE, is pretty simple:
They're normal.
Of course there are the life and death situations, the ‘we are going to die, so we have to tell each other how we feel’ moments, but mostly they’re just two normal people with insecurities and flaws who try to get on with each other.
Also, like I said, I adore the normalcy of it. I can totally see those two settling in nice big quarters on Atlantis, going steady, maybe having a kid or two. Living happily ever after.
