Scifi20in20 entry - Chuck

So, I've been absolutely obsessed with Chuck lately (been marathoning the whole show in about a week - right now I'm at the third to last episode and it's still great). Also I've just discovered that this is the episode that has BEN BROWDER in it. HIIIIIII BEEEEENNN! :D

So, long story short, my first entry for Scifi20in20 is all Chuck. I tried a few new things techniquewise but I'm kinda focusing on coloring and lighting for now. Really should sit down and look at a few tutorials though (looking at you JS ;)).

Hey, don't look at me :D I promise to make those tuts soon (and even sooner if someone makes my programming projects for me... just had to ditch a team cause I just didn't have the time for them all D: it was a shitty thing to do but had to be done :/)

Oh, anyway, let's not ramble but talk about icons instead ;) I'm still a bit amazed at the progress you've made. I mean look at the whole AC set, they're AMAZING. The lighting and contrast on AC4 is just heavenly, and the same goes for AC1. I also really love the vibrant colors of your category, esp. 1 and 4.

OH, and some of those alts are stunning! Talking of 2 and 3 especially. They have that slightly grungy look + monochromatic and those are my two favorite things atm ;) and my favorite crop too. Just perfect! and it looks good in both red and blue too.

Others I really enjoy here include but are not limited to eyes closed, pale bg, Pride!!, cat3, ac2 & ac5.

GREAT JOB!!! It's always so good to see new icons from you. Even my icon randomizer was excited enough to grant you this awesome Harv icon! ^^

Hehe, well, you know that I don't even understand two words when you start talking about programming, so no luck there, sorry! ;) And I understand the need to ditch a team when you don't have the time, it doesn't feel great, but in the end, it's mostly the right thing to do.

And thanks, I really hope I'm making progress, in this case I didn't do that many new things, just focused on lighting and contrast, so I'm glad you liked that. I think I'm figuring out how to do it best, but it still depends grately on the cap.

And yay! for liking alt 2 and 3, I left them in there, even though I discarded the original one, mostly because I thought you'd like them. :)
Was totally by accident, but I'll definitely experiment more in that style, I'm starting to like it too.

And thanks to your icon randomizer, that icon is really stunning! :D I'll return the favour in kind!

OMG! These are so gorgeous :) Like JS said, you have made so amazing progress, these are amazing!

My favorite are hands, pale background, nostalgia, pride. I LOVE your gatgory set!! one, four and five are my faverite and AC set is so amazing, too! One and four are also my favorite but I really like them all! :) Four have so beautiful light and colors :)

Also alternates are very great! :) Amazing set!!

Some fantastic icons but my favourite are shiny ( I love the colours and blending, just beautiful), nostalgia (I love B & W and this is done perfectly) and AC 5 (my favourite scene in the series with a great crop)

Thanks! YAY for Chuck, I'm done now and actually started again with season 1 immediately. Such a great show!

I'm happy that you like the icons, especially shiny, was very unsure about what to choose for that and worked on it for faaaaaar too long for my tastes. ;)

And the scene in AC 5 is one of my favourite scenes too, I don't say this too often about a show, but part of me wishes this would have been the final scene. Just perfect!

Thanks! Now I hope that you'll host another lims - maybe after this one has ended I'll be good enough to survive more than one round. LOL Still, that definitely was a wake-up call for me to seriously start working on my icons, so I'm very thankful for that. :)

Obviously Claudia will always be my number 1 but if there's anyone who could possibly threaten that place it'll be Yvonne. She's SOOOO GREAT!!!

I kinda want to do a little sister vid for Sarah and Aeryn now, they are SO similar. ;)
